Delicacies LaCoum

Mediterranean delights LaCoum specializes in ‘high-quality Mediterranean culinary experiences.’ These sweet treats are known in Turkey as lokum, handmade according to ancient Turkish recipes. In the Netherlands, many people think of Turkish Delight, but according to LaCoum owner Nuran Celik, that is not correct. Her delicacies are made from natural products such as nuts, fruit, honey, and chocolate that are carefully selected. “We use the best quality nuts and dried fruit. For example, the pistachios come from the eastern region of Turkey (Siirt), where my family comes from,” says Celik. LaCoum’s products are not all very sweet but do look fantastic. Additionally, LaCoum packages them very beautifully, as the photos in this article show.

Personalized packaging

Handcrafted, tasty, and beautifully packaged sounds like an excellent mix for items used as promotional products. LaCoum offers various gift packages for the business market. From 50 pieces, it is possible to assemble a unique gift box. The packages can also be personalized. Celik: “Customers can choose a personalized ribbon, card, or sleeve.”

Status and developments

In its first five years, LaCoum has made significant progress. The company supplies consumers through a webshop and operates as a wholesaler. Currently, LaCoum has customers in 17 European countries. Celik dreams of making LaCoum a global brand. Website: LaCoum.nl Henri Willig
