Tasty present: More than just chocolate trial and error. Moreover, you want to be as flexible as possible when it comes to personalization. If custom packaging needs to be created quickly in a smaller quantity, we can deliver it."

Production Chocolate production takes place in the Netherlands. For large orders, the chocolate is delivered in liquid form, saving a lot of time. Tasty Present uses polycarbonate molds. These are expensive but have the advantage of producing very sharp, clean lines, which are important for the quality of telegram blocks and photo tablets. Callebaut also provides Tasty Present with tips and trends for the future, including flavors, market developments, and more.

Tasty Present’s working method is unique.

Bram explains, "With our lightning-fast 1-on-1 personalization, dropshipping, and private label options, we are an attractive partner for resellers and international e-tailers. This can go very far. For example, some companies have their own packaging lines, but it can even go so far that we supply products, and the customer does the printing themselves. This happens, of course, under our supervision to ensure quality."

Sustainability Sustainability is also a key theme within the company. This includes considering the company itself, the product, and the packaging. Regarding the product, Callebaut, the producer, has made significant improvements through partnerships with Cocoa Horizons, ensuring all raw materials are traceable and striving for a living wage for farmers. When it comes to packaging, there is still room for improvement, as Bram outlines. "Take our Sinterklaas letters, for example. Until recently, they were all packaged in a gold-colored plastic inlay. We thought this could be improved, so we searched for a new packaging method and found it in multiple layers of cardboard stacked together, creating a plastic-free packaging. We will be launching this very soon."

Future Tasty Present is on its way to becoming one of the major players in Europe in the field of personalized confectionery. It is using every possible means to be prepared for new market developments and trends—not only at the product level but also at the process level. However, craftsmanship remains a priority, and the 'Burgundian' DNA will never be lost.
